CARLINVILLE FIRST ASSEMBLY STL STORY1/28/2010 2009 Momentum started a blaze in our students for Speed the Light giving. God spoke to the hearts of each student and they took it very seriously. Each one worked very hard to raise the amount that they felt God had given them. Most of the youth hit their goals and the ones that didn't for this year are still putting in for next year. Scotty Gibbons challenged the youth of Illinois and Carlinville took the challenge and raised $3700.00 in 4 weeks. Our year goal was $5000.00 and we brought in well over $7500. The challenge doesn't stop just because its a new year our students have a desire to do even more this year. They have seen what they can do in 4 weeks with determination and are on fire for what they can bring in in 52 weeks. Thanks Paul and Scotty for your encouragement!!! |
